Product Description
Product Description
External fixed e-axes EMC test benches enable testing of the e-axes the anechoic chamber, and have excellent EMC performance.
1.1 Core Product Advantages
(1)Ultra-pure Background with External Layout
All dynamometer and power units are placed outside the anechoic chamber, eliminating internal stray electromagnetic interference. It maintains extremely stable and low background noise, fully complying with CISPR 25 Class 5 requirements and ensuring excellent test repeatability.
(2)Professional for Standalone & Split-type Motors
Specially designed for single motors and split motor-ECU systems, different from dual-axis e-axle benches. It perfectly matches national and international loaded test conditions, effectively avoiding invalid and distorted test results caused by mismatched working conditions.
(3)High-precision 4-quadrant Dynamic Loading
Equipped with regenerative 4-quadrant dynamometer system, it covers full speed and torque range, simulating steady-state, transient step load, climbing and regenerative braking conditions. Synchronized EMI and working condition data support accurate noise root cause analysis.
(4)Full Compliance for Accredited Testing
Fully compliant with CISPR 25, GB/T 18655, ECE R10 and ISO 11452, covering conducted emission, radiated emission and immunity tests. Standardized fixture, grounding and wiring ensure traceable and reproducible data for vehicle approval and CNAS/CMA accreditation.
(5)High Stability & Low Operation Cost
The mature external fixed structure delivers high long-term stability and low failure rate. The simplified chamber layout improves testing efficiency and maintenance convenience. With fully self-developed core components, it provides shorter lead time, lower investment and efficient local after-sales service compared with imported solutions.
1.2 Model Selection
External fixed e- axes EMC test benches have two excellent dynamometers outside the anechoic chamber, and connect to the test object by the EMC drive shaft.

Note:
JKT can provide customized EMC test benches to meet special requirements. In order to test e-axle and high speed e-motor , JKT’s EMC e-axle test benches could equip a special gearbox connect to the EMC drive shaft one side in the anechoic chamber. The special gearbox has one direct output shaft and another high speed output shaft.
Based on the e-axle dynamometer, JKT designs a set of movable EMC dynamometer for hybrid and extended-range powertrains EMC test. The movable EMC dynamometer can simulate engine output to conduct comprehensive testing on hybrid and extended-range powertrain assemblies.
1.3 Typical Application Project for e-axes test
Test benches test e-motor and e-axes of the electric vehicles (EVs).
Main test contents:
(1)Conducted Emission test
(2)Radiated Emission test

Basic configurations:
Dynamometer & Mechanical System: Two high-dynamic asynchronous or synchronous motors are selected as the dynamometer, equipped with two EMC drive shafts system and precision, reliable mechanical components. Dynamometers installed outside the anechoic chamber.
Frequency Converter: Four-quadrant frequency converters are adopted for dynamic or steady-state control of the dynamometers. It enables control of rotational speed, torque, allowing the dynamometer to operate in either motoring or generating mode.
Battery Simulator or Bidirectional DC Power Supply: Simulates an on-board battery pack to supply power to the inverter and the motor. The DC power connects to HV filter outside the anechoic chamber, and then connect to HV AN by HV lines.
MCU Power Supply: Provides a low-voltage power supply for the motor controller. Customer can also select the battery which put on the test table.
Test Object Cooling System: Supplies cooling medium for the tested E-axle and E-drive. An oil or water-cooling system is available for certain oil-cooled or water-cooled test pieces. Parameters including temperature, pressure and flow rate of the cooling system are fully adjustable. The water-cooling system can also use ethylene glycol as the cooling medium. The cooling system is connected to the fluid waveguides mounted on the wall of the anechoic chamber.
Automated Measurement & Control System: Conducts overall control and condition monitoring of the entire motor test bench.

1.4 FAQ
Q1: What is the core advantage of the external fixed e-motor EMC test bench, and why is it preferred for certification tests?
A1: Its core advantage is ultra-pure and stable electromagnetic test environment. Adopting a classic external structure, all interfering equipment including dynamometers, inverters and cooling systems are placed outside the anechoic chamber. Only test samples and standard wiring are arranged indoors, which completely eliminates stray electromagnetic interference. It maintains stable ultra-low background noise, fully meets CISPR 25 Class 5 highest standard, and provides highly repeatable and traceable test data, making it the best choice for motor monomer certification tests.
Q2: How to choose between the external fixed bench and the mobile e-axle test bench?
A2: The two benches are designed for differentiated test objects. The external fixed bench is specially used for split-type motors, standalone motor monomers and split motor-ECU systems. The single-axis loading mode strictly complies with national standard loaded test conditions for motors. The mobile free-standing bench is dedicated to integrated e-axles, supporting dual-axis independent differential loading to simulate vehicle turning and differential driving conditions. Select the fixed bench for single motor testing, and the mobile bench for integrated e-axle testing.
Q3: Does this external fixed test bench comply with global regulations and support official certification applications?
A3: Yes, it fully complies with domestic and international regulations. The bench supports mainstream EMC standards including CISPR 25, GB/T 18655, ECE R10 and ISO 11452, covering conducted emission, radiated emission and immunity tests. With standardized specimen installation, grounding and wiring design, it realizes precise synchronization of working condition and EMI data. All test results are reproducible and traceable, suitable for OEM R&D verification, CNAS/CMA accredited laboratory testing and official vehicle type approval applications.
