Free-Standing Chassis Dynamometer for EMC Test

With the widespread application of high-voltage platforms and intelligent electric drive systems for new energy vehicles, the vehicle electromagnetic environment has become increasingly complex. Meanwhile, the continuous upgrading of domestic and international EMC test regulations such as CISPR 25 and GB/T 18655 has made vehicle electromagnetic compatibility testing under dynamic working conditions a core certification requirement for the automotive industry. Traditional embedded chassis dynamometers have inherent defects. Their built-in power components inside the anechoic chamber easily generate electromagnetic clutter and raise the background noise, resulting in distorted test data. Moreover, they feature high civil transformation costs, long construction cycles, difficult equipment maintenance and low laboratory utilization. The market has long been monopolized by imported equipment with high purchase and after-sales costs, creating an urgent demand for domestic alternative solutions.
Targeting industry pain points, Anhui Jingke independently developed the free-standing chassis dynamometer for EMC tests.

Adopting a fully external isolation structure for power units, it completely eliminates self-generated electromagnetic interference, ensuring accurate and compliant test data and meeting the low-noise test standards for high-end vehicles. Requiring no ground embedding and excavation, the modular floor-standing design greatly reduces civil engineering costs and shortens the project cycle. It supports stepless adjustment of wheelbase and track, compatible with passenger cars, special vehicles and other models, and accurately simulates full-road dynamic driving conditions. The equipment can be flexibly moved out of the anechoic chamber to realize multi-scenario laboratory utilization. Equipped with an energy feedback system for energy saving, it integrates the advantages of easy maintenance, short delivery cycle and high cost performance, effectively solving core EMC test difficulties in the industry.

1.2 FAQ

Q 1 : What is the free-standing chassis dynamometer dedicated to EMC testing, and what are its core advantages over traditional embedded roller dynamometers?

A1: This is a movable free-standing chassis dynamometer specially developed for full-vehicle EMC tests. Adopting an integrated shielding modular design, it requires no pre-buried foundation pit and can be directly placed on the turntable floor of semi-anechoic and full-anechoic chambers. Its core advantages are as follows: First, the whole machine adopts a low-radiation shielding structure. All drive units and connecting cables are equipped with professional RF suppression treatment. The self-radiation of the equipment is far lower than the limit values of CISPR 12 and GB/T 18387, avoiding interference with vehicle EMI radiation emission test results and ensuring test accuracy. Second, the split independent structure supports adjustable wheelbase and track width, fully compatible with 2WD and 4WD fuel vehicles and new energy vehicles. Third, no civil reconstruction is required. The equipment can be moved and stored flexibly for rotational use in multiple laboratories, greatly improving equipment utilization. Fourth, the fully isolated vibration-damping base effectively suppresses mechanical vibration transmission and prevents vibration clutter from interfering with vehicle electromagnetic immunity test data.

Q 2 : What domestic and international full-vehicle EMC test standards can the equipment meet? Is it compatible with various laboratory environments?

A2: The equipment complies with mainstream domestic and international full-vehicle EMC test standards and is highly compatible with various laboratory scenarios. In terms of standards, it meets the requirements of Chinese standards GB/T 18387, GB 18387, and international standards including CISPR 12, UN R10, SAE J551-5 and ISO 11452 series for full-vehicle radiated emission and radiated immunity tests. In terms of laboratory compatibility, it needs no embedded installation and can be directly deployed on the insulated floor, turntable surface and reverberation chamber floor of EMC anechoic chambers. The full-metal shielding housing with reliable grounding fully meets the shielding, filtering and grounding specifications of EMC chambers. Meanwhile, it can be synchronously linked with automatic driving robots, vehicle front wind simulation systems, exhaust gas collection devices and charging simulation systems to meet diverse test requirements.

Q 3:What are the load capacity, maximum test speed and torque simulation capability of the equipment? What types of passenger and commercial vehicles are supported?

A3: The equipment features stable and reliable performance with a wide vehicle compatibility range. In terms of basic performance, the rated single-axle load is 1800kg, the total vehicle load is 3600kg, and the maximum test speed is 120km/h. Equipped with a four-quadrant eddy current load system, it can accurately simulate real vehicle driving conditions such as road resistance, slope resistance and coasting. In terms of vehicle compatibility, the adjustable wheelbase ranges from 2200mm to 3800mm, covering mini cars, sedans, SUVs, light vans and light new energy commercial vehicles. It supports independent torque control for FWD, RWD and 4WD vehicles. With strong chassis adaptability, it is compatible with low-profile sports cars and all conventional passenger vehicles with a ground clearance of ≥80mm. Equipped with anti-slip guide ramps, it effectively avoids extra electromagnetic noise caused by tire slipping and ensures test stability.

Q 4:Does the free-standing dynamometer require civil construction for installation? What are the daily maintenance difficulty, calibration cycle and delivery cycle?

A4: The equipment features convenient installation, simple maintenance and efficient delivery. For installation, no civil construction such as foundation pit excavation or embedded steel plates is required. After arrival, the equipment only needs to be placed on a flat ground. On-site commissioning can be completed within 3 working days after finishing shielding grounding, air circuit and communication wiring. For maintenance, the core drive unit adopts a fully sealed shielding cabinet with high protection performance. Basic maintenance for bearings and torque sensors is conducted every six months, and full-performance calibration is carried out annually with on-site calibration services available. For delivery, the delivery cycle for standard models is 45 working days, while customized models with upgraded load capacity, speed and 4WD expansion functions take 60-75 working days. We provide a 1-year full-machine warranty, lifelong remote technical support and on-site maintenance services.
